Henna Brow FAQ

WHAT IS HENNA

Henna Brows use a plant-based tint (Supercilium) to stain both the skin and the brow hairs, giving a fuller, more defined shape with a soft powder effect.

How long does it last

• Skin stain: 1–2 weeks

• Hair stain: 4–6 weeks

Longevity depends on your skin type, oiliness, aftercare, and lifestyle

IS SUPERCILLIUM SAFE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN

Yes — Supercilium is made with natural henna and botanical ingredients.

However, we recommend a patch test 24–48 hours before if you are sensitive or prone to allergies.

DOES IT LOOK NATURAL

Yes! Henna creates a soft “powder brow” look that enhances your natural brow shape.

It can be bold at first but softens beautifully within 24–48 hours.

CAN HENNA FILL IN SPARSE AREAS
  1. Yes — the skin stain helps create the illusion of fuller brows, especially in thin or patchy areas.
DOES THE STAIN FADE EVENLY

Henna fades gradually and typically evenly when proper pre-care and post-care are followed.

Oily skin may fade faster from the skin.

DO HENNA BROWS HURT

No — henna is topical and non-invasive. You will feel no pain.

HOW LONG DOES THE APPOINTMENT TAKE

A typical Henna Brow appointment takes 30–45 minutes, including mapping, shaping, and tinting.

WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HENNA AND TINTING

• Henna stains skin and hair, lasting longer and giving a fuller brow effect.

• Tinting stains only brow hairs and fades faster.

IS HENNA OK AFTER LAMINATION

Yes — but only if your lamination was done 48 hours before or 1 week after henna.

Doing them too close together can cause overprocessing or uneven stain.

CAN I GET HENNA BROWS IF I USE RETINOL OR ACIDS

Yes, but retinol/AHA/BHA must be stopped 72 hours before the appointment, since exfoliated skin holds stain less evenly.

WILL HENNA WORK ON GREY OR VERY LIGHT BROW HAIR

Yes — Supercilium is highly pigmented and grabs well onto light hairs.

Grey hairs may need a slightly longer processing time.

HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY HENNA BROWS

• Avoid oil-based cleansers

• Be gentle when washing

• Keep the brows dry for the first 24 hours

• Avoid sauna, steam, and swimming for 48–72 hours

WHO SHOULD AVOID HENNA BROWS

• Anyone with a known henna or PPD allergy

• Very dry, flaking skin around the brows

• Recent chemical peels or microdermabrasion (wait 1–2 weeks)
